《Bocchi the Rock!》 is a popular comic serialized by Japanese cartoonist Akira Hamaji in Houbunsha's four-panel comic magazine 《Manga Time Kirara MAX》. As of January 2024, the cumulative sales of single volumes have exceeded 3 million copies.

Hitori Gotō , a female high school student, joined a band called "Kessoku Band" (結束バンド) with the dream of forming a band.

The work depicts the daily life of Hitori Gotō and the other three members of the orchestra: Nijika Ijichi, Ikuyo Kita, and Ryō Yamada, who grew up together.

The comic was adapted into a TV animation in the fall of 2022. It gained huge popularity as soon as it was aired, especially among young people, and caused an unprecedented rock craze.
